Just Wondering: Questions for "Loyal Bushies" about our wacky, madcap adventure in Iraq

When your president says that "if we don't fight them there, we'll have to fight them here", what does he mean? How does he think "they" will get "here"? Will they arrive as passengers on airplanes or boats? Or do they have their own navy and air force? (I'm assuming he doesn't think they will drive here)

And, where does the Department of Homeland Security fit into this scenario? What have they been doing for the last five years? Have they put in place any procedures that will protect us from "them" getting "here"?

When your president says that setting an "artificial timetable" for getting out of Iraq only means that the terrorists will just "wait us out", what does he mean? Doesn't he realize that no matter how long we stay there, a year or ten years or a thousand years, they will always "wait us out", because that is where they live?

When your president approves torture, secret prisons, secret renditions, warrantless wiretaps and the elimination of the 800 year old legal concept of habeas corpus, does he understand that he is accomplishing exactly what the terrorists can only dream of--the destruction of democracy and freedom? Does he even care? Was that his plan all along?

Finally, when you consider that more Americans (Children, mostly) have died refereeing a civil war between religious sects in a country that had NOTHING to do with 9-11, than died in the actual 9-11 attack, do you think it is worth it? Do you feel safer? Are we better for it?
